My space platform is dropping 15-30 iron plate at a time to a cargo landing pad requesting 1000 when there are 3000+ available on the platform.
Cargo pad's request:
Platoform cargo bays:
This happens every time the platform comes back around to Nauvus.
Oddly, other drops (ex: science from other planets) drop a full-rocket-load at a time. It's just iron-plate that exhibits this odd behaviour.
Weird/silly workaround:
If I do the following, the 1000-load eventually drops, but not as-expected, given other-drop behaviours.
1) I Manually queue orbital drop of 10-stacks (1000) iron plate. NOTE: This does not drop!
2) I wait a minute or two and grumble about why it's not dropping. (Unclear if the grumbling is important in this step )
3) I DEQUEUE the 10-stacks, putting them back into platform inventory.
...At this point, a few seconds later, a whole rocket full of 1000 plate is delivered.
This is, as one might guess, less-automated than I would hope. <G>
P.S. On preview, the images are the same, despite having different file names. But that's a forum bug, not a game bug. The platform image eventually displays at the end.

Post the save please, see 3638.

Also experiment with disabling some/all unfulfillable requests, to see whether it changes things; maybe it's the same/related to 123212 Space platforms not dropping requested items / 122321 Not all rockets launching when ready.

Re: [2.0.23] Platform drops tiny partial-rockets when full-load available.
Thanks to Klonan's reply (HERE), I learned that the problem was another platform spamming landing bay with small drops, preventing the bigger drops.
Adding carbo bays helped but, per that reply, I hope you will fix it, as this is a bit of an annoyance. Suggestion: prioritize largest deliveries down to smallest.
(Not uploading the save as I'm not sure how, and I think you guys have the info you need, per Klonan. If you still need my save game, please tell me where to find it on MacOS (latest); thanks!)
As I understand the problem reproduction scenario:
* Have platform #1 produce and make available tiny amounts of <resource>.
* Have platform #2 produce and make available huge amounts of <resource>.
* Request from cargo landing pad with no extra bays a large amount of <resource>.
EXPECTED: large amounts come down.
ACTUAL: small amounts come down.
SUSPECTED REASON: The only rocket-landing-area is spammed by smaller deliveries.
WORKAROUND(sub-ideal): Add cargo bays to open up more delivery-ports.
