Woohoo! Now I can finally test out the cool stuff from 0.13.10FactorioBot wrote:

Yay, no more involuntary no-crafting challenge.FactorioBot wrote:Fixed that the Linux binaries would crash after handcrafting finishes. (29614)

Yay trains work again
Re: Version 0.13.11
I'm getting poor behavior zooming in and out on OS X 10.11.6. Mostly in the map, but also in the main viewer. Might have something to do with the fact that I have "Scroll Direction: Natural" disabled on my track pad. When I try to scroll down (i.e. zoom out) the game alternates between rapidly zooming in and out to the extremes. This was working fine in 0.13.10 for me.
Re: Version 0.13.11
Scrolling is completely broken on OSX. I registered an account to tell you this. Whatever you did, please undo it. It worked almost perfectly before.FactorioBot wrote:

Re: Version 0.13.11
I don't know what you did, but this release is noticeably faster on my system than any previous release of factorio I have tried. Not only is this improvement subjectively apparent, my actual FPS is literally higher, although, sadly, still not 60fps if anything is happening in the game. Perhaps it fixed some limitation to do with multiple monitor systems with wierd timings?
I run linux x64 and have radeon SI hardware w/ open-source drivers.

I will probably make the scroll precision a setting, so you can customize it. I mostly did this for normal mice, where it really was broken, but it felt fine to me on a trackpad and a magic mouse.rgant wrote:I'm getting poor behavior zooming in and out on OS X 10.11.6. Ironically I was actually going to attempt the Lazy Bastard achievement when I encountered this bug. Unfortunately you need to craft 100 items by hand in total, as a bare minimum, so not being able to craft a single one makes it impossible :pGandalf wrote:Yay, no more involuntary no-crafting challenge.FactorioBot wrote:Fixed that the Linux binaries would crash after handcrafting finishes. Re: Version 0.13.11
Not sure if it's only me. Or all in my head. The game feels like since update. 13.9 to 13.10 and now 13.11 has been consistently slowing down. Game play feels jittery and laggy both online and offline play.
It's mostly noticeable when fully zoomed out.
Playing on win 7, through steam with no mods. Have the same issue when there is no other programs running.

A bug report has been filled with such symptom. While waiting for a fix, you should turn off V-Sync, it should help.Arby3k wrote:Not sure if it's only me. Or all in my head. Want more space restriction ? Or maybe you want to be forced to use train for other thing than ore and oil ? Try Building Platform Mod !
Re: Version 0.13.11
I was thinking the same (on my spare, lower spec LAN computer) but I went back a few versions to 0.13.6 and the performance was just as low.Arby3k wrote:Not sure if it's only me. Or all in my head. I did however find that my FPS went from 36 to 60 when I switched to openGL mode, you can do that by opening a config text file and setting force openGL mode to true
Re: Version 0.13.11
I just noticed that on 0.13.9 you said "Removed --mp-load-game" .
But what is the way to do it now ? Why did you suppress this ? I used it to make shorcuts when playing in lan with friends, and other players too.
You could make it again, with the need of providing a server-settings.json, as for a server ?

Re: Version 0.13.11
Hi Guys sorry to bug you again.
I know that this is only a minor issue, but I just thought you should know
If two diagonal tracks curve off at the same point their Bounding/Collision box's overlap and still merge into 1 block.
it is definitely better than 0.13.10, but can still happen in 0.13.11
I found it here
restarted the map
Quit out and started new game
Removed all mods and started new game
All mods except for "Skip first hour/Fast Start" https://mods.factorio.com/mods/ToadRoac ... ward-Start
(I don't think this mod should have any thing to do with it, because it only adds items the first time a player is created and so I would have trains immediately to test this.)

Re: Version 0.13.11
Seeing really bad latency (about 2 minutes) whenever a player leaves my server (headless/linux).

Am i the only one who can not download or update any mods?

Re: Version 0.13.11
That is a 0.13.10 bug, i am using 0.13.11, and the bug was suggested to have been fixed for this update. As no-one else mentioned this in this post (or responded to that thread saying it was not actually fixed), i assume that i am doing something wrong.ytsejam wrote:viewtopic.php?f=11&t=29673MrDrummer wrote:Am i the only one who can not download or update any mods?
However, i can not update any mods (no matter how many times i try), or install new mods via the in-game portal. I use the Zip version, and have even unzipped again in case i transferred an incorrect folder from the old version.
EDIT: I found another thread tagged with this version too: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=29880&p=189959#p189959
