Is that a wrong expectation? yup. its unlocked but not everything you need is unlocked at the start. What's the benefit of having it unlocked? My issue is with warmer brick production for hot air. I set up coke oven gas with temp of exactly 500 Celsius going in there and there it just sits and does nothing. do you have any plans related to recent hot-air changes in regards to coalbed-gas?
converting coalbed to xx always includes 500unit of hotair which seems off since the last hot-air changes

correct you can vent 65° steam in tailing ponds this 65° stuff is a way to introduce cooling towers where you see many receipts that consume 100 water and produce 100 steam of 65° - you will be able to recycle the water with cooling towers which is very cool mechanic you can bypass this with unlimit...

depending on your planned science rate, but it is also very important to use upgraded flask receipt (eg to add boron-trioxide) to cut down glass requirements a lot

i currently use all surplus crude oil to fuel oil to combustion mixture for power

i will try to redirect my fuel oil to glass and instead use other means for power:
- iron to phytoplank to biomass to steam
- auog power (i love it, but requires a rather large kicalk + fawogae plantation)

seawed, moss, saps etc... now have the same mechanics of all other crop/animal buildings. its hard to make the first versions, them you just need to put them in the machines to make it faster. wanted to say: i really like the update for these (and wood) -> it feels very consistent how pyAL works now!
