just a quick off-topic thing
why do the Robots in the Research picture for "Logistics Robot cargo size", "Character Logistics Trash slots" and "Character Logistics slots" have a Antena, because they don't seem to have one anywhere else. that little Detail Confuses me a bit...

Haha! More HG2G references in the achievements please :D :lol:
I LOVE the fire! It really makes Factorio more like a finished game (along with removing all the temporary sprites!)

As far as the achievements go, I think you should move away from having an achievement popping up for things which require no effort such as angering biters. I think this will make the experience feel shallower overall.
A suggestion could be:
Have two levels of achievements: 1) Just get the achievement however!
2) Get it but without making the game easier (peaceful mode, increased ore, etc.)

I like the fire mechanic the most, will it be possible for modders to have a similar effect with acidic ammunition? As well that entity/unit types like the alien types can be set on fire?

What about making flamed biters randomly run around and set trees on fire? ^^

The new fire mechanic looks awesome. I like it. My question is: Will nearby buildings catch fire, as well? Will there be a way to stop it spreading (using water in some kind or building a literal firewall)?
Every new fff makes the upcoming steam release even more awesome. :D

I like this idea ... flame turrent sets biter on fire. Turrets dies and biter rampages through the base while burning setting your base on fire.

Downside: I would never build a flame turret.

Maybe flammable buildings are a bit much, yeah. But exploding oil tanks could be fun. :3
