Re: Friday Facts #189 - Specifying the 1.0
Love the underground length extensions, not sure if a mod did that before but I remember thinking this was already a thing? Anyway, I look forward to them.

Re: Version 0.15.1
Well I slept in this morning because I wasn't sure what time it may be released and didn't want to feel anxious half the day! Looking forward to the new changes and relearning stuff, even if the updates ended here, you guys have done some great work and created an exceptional game! [slow clap] :mrgr...

Re: Factorio Roadmap for 0.15 + 0.16
I think a monthly fee is not so easy to get behind, it usually makes me think twice and I've only ever paid monthly for server hosting since that does make sense to me. It's twice as hard to convince a new player the game is worth not only the base price you pay, but also a monthly subscription than...

Re: Friday Facts #168 - Nightvision Nightmare
Guys, settle down. The pictures are clearly out of order. I think the first and third images are supposed to be swapped. Well it's not that clear since he describes the glow transition in the third part which corresponds to the third image. So I have to add my two cents, the idea of the third image...

...Though something like this would be cool too: http://earthfirstjournal.org/newswire/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2015/03/World%E2%80%99s-Biggest-Excavator.jpg Holy crap, is that thing real!? Suddenly I want a giant saw blade I can install on the car to mow down forests. Anyway, something like an o...

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
Perfect way to lose an entire day. I find it pretty impressive to change the landscape from a pristine forest, swampland or desert into a shining, smoke spewing outdoor factory. Even if I only grasp maybe about half of the more technical stuff, it feels really good to set up auto crafting and resear...

Did that pipe mod get made so you can place them on deep water?

Rework Tips?
Oh that's right, but I thought it only changes to your best weapon? Anyway, I did end up seeing the hint popup that actually mentions it. So my thought now is more leaning toward those hints should maybe get shuffled around, and some definitely need to be reworded to make them more clear, unless it'...

Re: Games Like Factorio
Hi guys, I'm new here (duh) so sorry for posting up in a few month old thread, but I was checking out some of the suggestions here and remembered one of my own. While waiting for Infinifactory to download I was gonna start playing this game, I do this often since I have a pretty slow connection. It'...

Re: So I wanted this game on steam so bad... Now I feel sick.
Jeeze, that seems a little ridiculous, couldn't you download the mods from TESNexus or Planet Elder Scrolls and install them manually? I only have Morrowind on Steam and everything except the script extender works, or I couldn't figure how to make it work since it needs it's own launcher to run firs...

Re: Empty hands key
Oh, good thanks! I might have eventually hit it on accident, or may have done so already, it did seem strange there wasn't a key for it.

Re: Infinifactory by Zachtronics - 3D SpaceChem successor
That looks really cool, thanks for ruining my bank account guys... Seriously, I knew Minecraft came from Infiniminer, but I didn't know that was Zachtronics! I also sucked at Spacechem, I didn't even get to the multi-assembly part, which looked more interesting. What I really loved though, was the s...

Empty hands key
Hellos, I've played for a relatively short time but greatly enjoying the game. I have looked to be sure it's not suggested already (in FAQs and first 5 pages at least) so forgive me if I've overlooked it. Basically just a key to empty your hands when you are placing an object. Sometimes you have a f...

Re: Screenshot functionality
This sounds cool and all, and seems to fall in place with the game's theme, but I would much prefer the option of a simple "press key, take screenshot". I assume most players are very technical/mechanical oriented, but I am not. I like playing with the idea in games like these, but I'm not...

Re: So I wanted this game on steam so bad... Now I feel sick.
Wow, you guys scared me for a minute, I originally got into PC gaming because of Oblivion and videos of the crazy mods for it. This, of course, in turn got me interested in modding and introduced me to 3D modelling, texturing, light coding, and really just seeing the games I played from a whole new ...
