You don’t need to fiddle with Permissions or Console Commands; just un-set the Control Bindings for Craft 1/10/All in Settings (after you get to Automation 1 / First Assembling Machine ready). It is then impossible to Craft anything else by Hand.

Not exactly a solution, and you might already know this. But you can manually delete connections using alt+c, and disconnect the copper wires between the poles.

Not ideal, as it's not automatic, but it's at least an option for now

On the right side there should be the section for pinned alerts/ entities. The alert should be listed there. Click the trash button to remove it

Hold shift when copying (if you aren't already). On the blueprint save window that pops up, click the check box on the left that says "tiles". That will save any ground entities like bricks, platform pieces, landfill, etc

This is a good idea. Out builds underground belts automatically, gates would be along the same vein

Agreed it is really hard to understand the placement of the towers. At the least, make the colors much more distinct, and include the description of the colors in the factoriopedia for the tower

Yea, the width of the ship is directly tied to the speed, people have found it in the source code. So narrower is better. And this setup is about as narrow as you can get

true, true. I'm just far end-game and just going for achievements before I start a new save. So I don't wanna wait around forever. In hindsight, I should've been working towards legendary mech armor for a long time, but I was just content with rare lol

You can also just make regular mech armors, recycle them and re-assemble until you get Legendary. That's how I do it. I think it's a heck of a lot easier than having to deal with making all of the quality individual parts.

I'm thinking fastest at this point. I'm at late game, trying to get the achievement (using rare mech armor worked just fine). So, resource use is of minimal concern. I'm just sick of sitting here watching my recyclers churn lol

i just sent one fish via rocket to a space platform in [2.0.41] Space Age, but it did not unlock the Achievement.

I switched to the option to hold shift over an entity to view the tooltips, even though I really hate it, just so I can view the whole tooltips. So glad to be able to put them back

The "pros" are just that, professionals. Playing this game is their job. You wouldn't compare your baseball skills to an MLB player, or your driving skills to an F1 driver. Don't put that pressure on yourself as a gamer, either 😊
