Re: [2.0.60] Flip occasionally spiking to high usage causing brief drops in UPS
I think it's the RAM. You have too many programs open. Your RAM use it at 88%, it probably means, swap is being used too. Open Task Manager (not Resource Monitor), I think there you can see swap use. Swap is an "additional RAM" on the hard drive, much slower by definition, OS is using it when RAM is ...

Re: [2.0.60] Flip occasionally spiking to high usage causing brief drops in UPS
You mean zero swap use? RAM usage is sitting at what value while playing?
Next, I assume you are playing on Microsoft Windows operating system:
1.Please check Windows Event Viewer, System tab, for any errors.
2. Reinstall GPU drivers, make sure to use most up to date version.

For me, Gleba was the hardest challenge, so I focused most of my game time there recently. It’s entirely possible to tame Gleba beast. I’m currently in the Aquilo phase, with foundations placed wherever I wanted on Fulgora and Vulcanus. But Gleba drew me in with its endless resources. Now I’m ...

Re: [2.0.60] "Removed recipes" message after Steam auto-update
"Only update the game when you launch it"
I guess this option will have to suffice - when prompted, you will update & run the game, knowing that the game may give you some technical messages about converting your save to the newest version.

Re: [2.0.60] "Removed recipes" message after Steam auto-update
The game informs you that a migration was performed and recipes were removed, if that information is relevant is completely up to you. It happened because the new version does not have the recipes the version your save was created with had.

We hear what YOU want.
But consider what other people use. And switch to Linux.

For example, I have a Linux server and Linux workstation at my home. Have not used Windows OS for last couple of years.

Still, biochamber should not reject valid fuel because better fuel becomes briefly available? It should use up entire fuel and then seek for new fuel once it's empty.Rseding91 wrote: Mon Jul 07, 2025 2:28 am If you don’t want this behavior you can set a filter on the fuel slot to restrict what goes into it.

Re: Map editor caused world corruption - Nauvis is Gleba now
Sounds like too far gone. Just reload save from before map editor experiment.
Yeah, unfortunately I don't have one of those. The last autosave was from right after I executed the editor changes. Sigh...
Sorry to hear.
Next time, remember to always manually Save the game before you quit the ...

Intel CPU, I'm not surprised it's failing.
Check if you have newer BIOS available.

Same experience here — it's just too loud. The same problem exists with space platform launchers: when a platform in view stops at a planet and drops cargo from all launchers simultaneously, the roar is deafening!

Re: [2.0.12] Commas not accepted as decimal separator in number field
Shouldn't that be dependent on your regional settings set in the OS? For example, I have UK keyboard and matching regional settings, so I only expect decimal point (a dot) to work, not comma.

I don't know if that will solve it for you, but you could install the game in two separate folders, use two shortcuts to run them. That way, your mods and saves will never mix.

Consider dropping all graphical settings to minimum to recover back to 60 FPS. Otherwise, game may struggle to be 100% consistent and lag free.Amarula wrote: Sat Jun 14, 2025 2:31 pm Thanks for the suggestions. My FPS was only 35! Re: [2.0.55] occasional keyboard stops responding or delayed response
Could be related to a hardware problem, for example, a failing hard drive. Check sudo dmesg for errors.
Also, could be RAM running out, swapping to hard drive. Check free -m .
Lastly, you are using an integrated Intel GPU, and what seems to be very high graphical settings. Reduce them to a minimum ...
