[2.0.14] Space Age, constant game freezes every 10-20seconds

Hi,

since the last update (2.0.14), I experience constant lag spikes/game freezes every 10-20seconds.

PC Specs:

- CPU: i7-8700k
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
- RAM: 32 GB
- OS: Win10

Same to me. After game update, freeze starts to appear. I restarted pc, close all programs, still freeze.

Same for me. Only just got to space and I get a spike every 5-15 seconds. multiple computers with the same issue.

After updating to 2.0.15 this problem still exists, just with less of an impact, the FPS / UPS just drops to 50FPS/UPS rather than ~40.

I can see frame cycle is spiking, but it doesn't show what system is spiking, so I am gonna add some more time checkers for next release. I suspect it might be something like music being loaded from disk, or some call to Steam API.

Do you have the game installed on SSD or HDD?

It is installed on an SSD (Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB) PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2

In your post, there is 600 ms spent in transport line update ... in here, it is somewhere in which we don't time inside "frame cycle". So it might be the same issue, if it general problem with a thread not being scheduled for execution for long time, or it might be different issue.

I'm having the same problems, my system:
Windows 11 (10.0.22631).
AMD 5950X
Nvidia 4090 (566.14 driver)
RAM 128 GB DDR4
SSD - Intel optane 905p 1.5 Tb

The delay is random, but at least not more often than once every 10-20 seconds the system hangs for half a second to a second.

Yeah, that is the same behaviour as my freezes. Makes it pretty unplayable

I just tested the 2.0.19 Experimental Branch on steam, and could not find any freezes anymore.

I tried experimental on Linux running via Steam and got the freezing thing. I actually tried a couple different versions and got the freezing at around the same time.

I'll try this on Windows 10 and see if it the same issue, but using 2.0.15 on Windows was the exact same issue as Linux.

Wondering if playing with mods is the issue, but I've removed all the mods and get the same freezing issue on Linux and Windows.
