[2.0.55] Corrupt save - "Unknown fluid prototype ID 25864" error when loading

What did you do?
Played on a save using the base game with Space Age expansion. After a gameplay session, my game crashed. Upon attempting to load into any of the 3 autosaves (2 minutes apart from one another), I get the error: "Corrupt map: unknown fluid prototype ID 25864. File has likely been corrupted due to failing hardware."

What happened?

• The game crashed mid-session

• After restarting, the primary save and all autosaves were corrupted with the same error message about an unknown fluid prototype ID

• The save fails to load

What did you expect to happen instead?
I expected the game to load normally, or at least have any functional autosave prior to the crash.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
This happens always when attempting to load this save or any of the autosaves


Steps to Reproduce

• Unsure how to replicate reliably

• Playing normally, building on Fulgora

• Game ran fine after a few hours, then sudden crash to desktop with an access violation

• Upon restarting, the main save and autosaves were corrupted

There are no details provided that would suggest a bug in the game. Your save file is corrupted.

There were 2 bytes corrupted, one was about fluid stored inside of chemical plant at [gps=256.5,-38.5] on nauvis where the value for sulfuric-acid was corrupted, second corruption was in the same fluidbox but on the fluid filter.

Please make sure your hardware is not failing, specifically if RAM is not faulty because if it is, you will likely get another corrupted save file at some point in time.

Thank you so much!! I greatly appreciate your fix.

In other news, I ran the Windows memory diagnostics tool and it spit out an 'all clear' for my memory, but I will definitely be keeping an eye on any artifacts that might indicate otherwise.

Intel CPU, I'm not surprised it's failing.
Check if you have newer BIOS available.
