Re: Friday Facts #309 - Controversial opinions
Myself, I use a lot of mods, so other people's blueprints are useless to me. Tho rarely I do look for one. Regarding inserters, I build megabases, and really need to watch my ups etc. I do no view close enough up to see the inserters in action. So I would prefer them to be as fast as poss. Would it ...

Ive found that three inserters is faster than using a loader setup, iii instead of ll (i = inserter, l = loader)

Low ups on modded game, getting worse. Usually fine.
Hi, Im running seablock with LTN and chest merge etc. Am running into very low ups (less than 20), I think since I really tackled the fluids, and there is a lot of fluids to sort out in this modpack. Im wondering if anyone wants to have a look at it to see how I can get more out of it, or if any str...

Getting stuck, bit of a rant.
The last time I played Seablock I cant remember getting so frustrated. It seems that the path between different items are either blocked or really hidden. Or you research things that you cannot use. Im currently trying to work out how to make and use bobmodium. There seems to be many blocks, for ins...

Re: Friday Facts #289 - Character GUI
Please, I beg you, do not make darker slots in gui (under items) I have form of astigmatism - light emiting pixels are blurry in my eyes, so i use light IDE, bright themes, because I must to use it. Too much contrast of background making game for me unplayable (white numbers on dark background). Pl...

Re: [0.16 / 0.17] LTN Tracker
Your log file does not show any errors. Every time you restart Factorio factorio-current.log is overwritten and the old log is renamed to factorio-previous.log. If you started Factorio only once since the error occurred you can upload that, otherwise you have to reproduce the crash (ideally you als...

Re: [0.16 / 0.17] LTN Tracker Bug Report
Im pretty sure that this is an LTN Tracker issue. Had Factorio on main menu for a while as I was playing it earlier today. Then went to reopen game. Did nothing but watched for a few seconds. Then it crashed. factorio-current.log Hopefully there is enough information in there. Cannot do without LTN ...
Re: Trains...
Sorry, even when the engine is on a junction on the straight part of it, its still not easy to select the train
Re: Trains...
Sorry, I'm not very good with words. When a train is on a bend its difficult to get the mouse to highlight the engine so that it can be clicked on. When in the train view (sorry cant remember right word here) I cant see far enough on the train's route to find out where it is being blocked. Fortunate...
Trains...
Trains have really taken a hit with the 0.17 update. Its difficult to click on them when the engine is on a bend. Its very hard/impossible to see where the problem is in their route, it was easy to see before. Its impossible to select a straight piece when its overlapped by a bend. Thats just what I...

0.17 crash when trying to research "that thing where you convert one oil into another" (sorry brain fog)
Well as you can read from my title my brain has gone on the blink. (health reasons). I also cant remember how to send in the log file.
If you haven't had other people reporting this bug then can someone help me out how to do it properly.
Thanks

Re: Friday Facts #280 - Visual Feedback is the king
One big question. Why does the colour scheme for factorio have to be so dark? The tonal value shown is a dark grey scale. This makes it difficult to see even if you have a good monitor. Can you please make it lighter?

Re: Train signaling, how frustrating....
I can see how that would work. Looks like Im going to have to figure out how to control the signals with circuitry. Im not great at that.... Thanks. Hopefully the fantastic devs will look into this at some point.

Train signaling, how frustrating....
I play my maps with heavy train use. Im playing with ltn atm. I do appreciate how trains are so much better than they used to be, very few wierd paths, and if they do its usually because of a blockage way down the line. What does really frustrate me (I've over 1000 hours played) is the signaling. Id...

Error state
Ive just updated my ltn and noticed it says that trains wont be added to the ready list if they are in an error state. Is there an easy to read list of these error states? Does this include a train coming back with items still in it?

Re: Option to disable no-power flashing
I totally agree that something needs to be done re the flashing. If they just had an option to turn the flashing off that will be a great help. It also does the same thing for me with the flashing that happens when a construction planner is placed. Also, the alarms that can be made, I wish they were...
