[0.12.2] [kovarex] Invalid Transport Line Index

3 man multiplayer, over the internets. Error message given was "Invalid Transport Line index: 3" for all three of us. We weren't doing anything of note, I think, I wasn't at least (I was waiting for gears to be built, having the assembler open). We had recently begun building rails.

Windows 64, 0.12.2, IPv4.

I can't reproduce it in your game, what exactly was the message? (The number at the end of the message), can you reproduce it somehow?

just got a "invalid transport line index: 5" after trying to remove a splitter which was being fed directly from another splitter, while a fast inserter was taking iron ore out of the splitter being removed. Can't bother reproducing it right now since we're in a multiplayer game

I just experienced it in a single player game, while placing a belt after removing a splitter (if I recall correctly). The entire (sub)base is without power, so nothing of interest was happening (though there were some items on the belt).

For some reason the log is empty, perhaps because I alt-tabbed out of the game after taking the screenshot.

I was able to reproduce it!

In the above attached autosave, do the following:
- Mine the chest, the three pieces of loose belt, and the two smart inserters.
- Mine the belt south of the player position (the one directly in front of the fast inserter).
- Place a splitter that goes from east to west at the position of the removed belt in front of the fast inserter, so that the bottom of the splitter is where the belt used to be.
- Let the items flow until they stop moving.
- Put the yellow belt from your toolbelt under your cursor, and mine the splitter.
- Now place a belt (that goes from east to west) directly in front of the fast inserter (where the belt from step 2 used to be/where the bottom of the splitter was).
- Now you should get the error message.

Hopefully I was clear enough and you can reproduce the message for yourself :D

Great, thx for the list, I was able to reproduce it on test map (and also in the automated test I build for this) and fix the issue (it was the easiest part).

It is fixed now for 0.12.3
