I've never made one of these before so I apologize if I get some stuff wrong. I was playing in my space age save riding a train when it kind of freaked out upon having to stop at a signal. I'm not the most experienced at this game but it seemed like it's not supposed to do that
. It's hard to explain exactly so I attached a clip that I took of it. Sorry about my mouse freaking out and it's pretty dark because windows auto HDR messes up my clipping for Factorio 
. I did not have any of the train brake upgrades when this happened. I haven't been able to replicate it and everything resumed as normal afterwards.
