[2.0.15] Crash while hovering blueprint: TransportBeltConnectable::buildabilityCheck()

Post by GGTrivial »

Game crashed several (around 5) times when trying while having a blueprint on the cursor.

Steps to reproduce:
Use the foundry blueprint from the hot bar, (or copy it from the setup near the character to the right)
While holding the blueprint, move the mouse around the screen (without placing it), move the character around, the game will crash, maybe.
I have gotten at least 5 crashes while deciding where to put this darn foundry blueprint while having the blueprint on my mouse. The logs from the last 2 crashes are uploaded here. I thought I had a way to consistently reproduce the crash until the method stopped being consistent.

Please let me know if anyone is able to reproduce it, because this seems like some horrible computer magic bug.

I am still getting these crashes. The crashes have all occurred in character view (not remote view). It is usually with large blueprints. A sample crash from 2.0.20 has been included. An update would be nice.

Hello and thanks for the report. i believe your CPU is faulty - every one of the crashes is in a different place - and each one is something that happens several hundred times per second or more.

Do you have the latest bios installed for your motherboard?
