Hi Factorio Team,
I noticed this very strange thing happen when I was copying and pasting a large section of 4 belt horizontally.
Some random vertical 4 belt sections instantly appeared on my map - see pictures for explanation,
In both attached images the horizontal belts circled in yellow were the ones that I was creating when the vertical belts (circled in red) all suddenly appeared in that pattern. Looks like some arithmetic bug to me,
Please let me know if you need more info. This has only ever happened once,

Welcome to the forum! Please follow 3638 when posting a bug report. In this case the only way to investigate the issue is if you can attach a save file where it recently happened so we can see what blueprint is stored in the copy queue and what entities were originally selected to create it. Thanks.
