I made a space platform to mine asteroids dedicated to produce high quality iron plates.
So all the machines up there have quality modules mark 2 in them.
So now I want the same for copper plates on the ground.
And with the first machine I place a quality module mark 2 in I get awarded with the - "make it better" insert a quality module into a module slot - achievement.
All those "better" machines on the platform don't count?
[Pard][2.0.23] Achievement "make it better" not awarded
Re: achievement "make it better" not awarded
Post the save and add the version of the game to the title please, see 3638.
[2.0.23] achievement "make it better" not awarded
my corrent version of the game: 2.0.23
savefile:
https://file.io/W8fWit6XHdT9
https://easyupload.io/rio1g6 ( same file )
If I can reproduce, I don't know.
I probably have to delete all my steam achievements and start over.
On the platform the remote view is used to insert the modules, on Nauvis, I was in character when I inserted the module, not in remote view.

Re: achievement "make it better" not awarded
suggests it only works when modules are inserted by hand?APIDocs wrote: ModuleTransferAchievementPrototype 'module-transfer-achievement'
This prototype is used for receiving an achievement when the player moves a module with the cursor.
Haven't tried it with bots (platform construction is remote as well, albeit different than bots).
Re: achievement "make it better" not awarded
My experience is that the achievement is only triggered by modules inserted by hand.

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
Re: achievement "make it better" not awarded
Respectfully, I think that modules inserted by bots should count as well, since it doesn't make sense to me that, in a game about automation and delegating tasks to machines, the act of inserting modules into a machine only counts when it's done by hand.
