Blueprints in "my blueprints" and the inventory linked
Why are ''My blueprints" and the blueprints in my inventory linked? When I delete a blueprint from my inventory it deletes that one from "My blueprints". Is that intended? The blueprint library was good before, whyyyy
Re: Blueprints in "my blueprints" and the inventory linked
It doesn't happen as you describe it.
The quickbar is not an inventory. It is just a link to things. Those things can be in your inventory or in your library.
Try to avoid putting blueprints in you character inventory, always put them in you library instead. Don't copy blueprints, it will confuse you if you have multiple identical copies. Don't press the DELETE button on blueprints you want to keep.

The blueprint library and inventory are not linked - the difference is that now the blueprint library acts like any other inventory. If you move something out of the library, it actually moves out of the library. It's a lot more intuitive and easy to use than the old system (in my opinion).
The only linking that ever happens is with the quickbar - and that has been a thing since March 2019, with v0.17.0.

Don't forget, you're here forever.

TL;DR;
Don't use the Delete button unless you really, really, really want to loose what's on the blueprint.

Blueprint deletion mechanics could be more clear on permanent actions
TL;DR
Make it clearer that "delete blueprint" deletes blueprints from *everywhere*, add signposting so people know how to clear from their inventory.What?
Currently, if you blueprint/book in your hotbar and want it gone, the _correct_ thing to do is to clear it with middle click.However, it's easy to be misled by the fact that blueprints can be deleted and just use the trash icon on the blueprint instead.
The trash icon, however, clears the blueprint from _everywhere_. If it's in a book, the blueprint will be removed from the book, which is somewhat counterintuitive. At this point multiple times I've made a blueprint, put it in a book, and then clicked it in my hotbar and deleted it to see it gone forever from everywhere. I know better now, but this was confusing for a while.
It would be nice if it were clearer that the "delete" button deletes everything. Perhaps if a blueprint is in the game blueprints or in a book the delete button prompts for deletion (and tells you how to clear)? There could also be a "clear from inventory" button next to it so people looking at how to trash a blueprint can see the button and use it instead.
Why?
Blueprint deletion cannot be undone (Ctrl-Z doesn't work) and can lose you a *lot* of work.Re: Blueprints in "my blueprints" and the inventory linked
