Hi,
Construction robots do not set a landfill when I place them via blueprint. The robots from the personal robot hangar do this, but robots in normal hangars do not. Everything else is no problem, even concrete is built without problems, just not landfill.
I have over 100k landfill in crates, both in storage chest, buffer chest and passive provider chest. I have over 10k free construction robots and it works perfectly with robots from the personal robot hangar.
Thanks for the help
Greetings

How far away are those non-personal bots and crates ?

My entire base is fully covered with the range of the hangar. There are crates nearby, but buildings even further away can also be built without any problems. Trees, stones, concrete are built or removed without any problems, only landfill is not touched at all.

It sounds everything's fine with the base, but then they need anything from you to help replicate the issue. Log file, screenshots or savefile? The log would show if you are using any mods for example.
Re: [2.0.15] Construction robots do not set a landfill
I ran into this bug as well. I shift+clicked a blueprint over some water and it took a long time for any robots to start bringing landfill. I definitely had enough landfill in the network and the landfill was in the roboport network range. This is on an unmodded playthrough. I built a roboport and that seemed to cause them to start sending the landfill, could be a coincidence though. Sorry that I don't have any more information, if this happens again in my playthrough I'll try to upload my save and all that. Just wanted to chime in that I saw this bug as well.

In any case i don't see that bug myself, here's some construction bots returning back home after build those landfill ghosts, i had my mech armor roboports turned off:

This sounds exactly the kind of behaviour expected from smarter robots (see link above), though there might be some additional bug here with their logic failing ? What did your own conbots do ? Did you even have enough excess conbots in the network ?Zenislev wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 1:47 am I ran into this bug as well. EDIT :
An issue that might or might not be related :

Screenshot the map with robots showing? Then highlight where the landfill chest is and where construction site is? Maybe we have a non-convex roboport network issue then?

Post a save that shows the issue please, see 3638.
