1.8.5 is out, fixes a typo, jet sound volume, and HelicoptersRevival compatibility changes.

Looks like I'd have to change the basetype of all the aircraft from cars to spidertrons to get that to work unfortunately. I created pull request with initial changes that fixes breaking API modding changes in 2.0.

There is also attached .zip file in the pull request so you can install the mod manually. Just open explorer and go to "%appdata%/Factorio/mods" and put your Aircraft_2.0.0.zip there.
I just couldn't stand slow travel and having to dodge every tree and rock...

Long time no see, party people. A new person has taken over development of Aircraft as you've no doubt seen on the mod portal since the advent of Space Age. I was out of the community for a time and didn't take notice until I was recently contacted.
Starting today, I've given MeteorSwarm contributor access to both the mod portal and Github, so he'll do whatever changes are necessary to 'officially' update as he deems fit. If he doesn't end up nuking the codebase, then in time I'll transfer ownership entirely. It's been a good run for me, but life has decided that I don't have the time or energy to keep playing Factorio for the past few years now and I don't want to clutch onto this mod's ownership at the expense of people getting to enjoy it.
