If I shift-drag when selecting an area to copy, the selection rectangle changes from white to blue, and on release a blueprint editor window appears (allowing e.g. inclusion of tiles).
If I shift-drag when selecting an area to cut, the selection rectangle changes from white to red, but on release the selection is just cut with default settings and no chance to edit it, exactly as if shift had not been used.
I would have expected shift-cut to open a blueprint editor in the same way as shift-copy. (Alternatively, if it is a design decision that it not work, then there should not be a visible change in the selection frame either.)

Re: [1.1.32] Shift-cut has cosmetic effect only
Thanks for the report,
It is working as intended that the cut does nothing with shift: 88262
I have fixed it for the next release, that it will not change from White to red
