If you really wanted to do it wrong, use a sushi belt with filter pickers.Krazykrl wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2020 10:51 am You're using underneathies, that's cheating. You should use filter splitters when you want to cross a belt if you really want to do it wrong.
I think that would actually be quite practical as long as items don't back up. For that you need circuit logic so you only put items on the belt that will be used up later on. And you probably want priority splitters so items don't get past filter inserters and clog up the later bus. Since most recipes have more inputs than outputs your bus would have to start wide and then get thinner and thinner. So as the bus progresses you are condensing items into more and more complex results. But as you build something will probably slip up. So probably a good idea to have at least one belt going backwards to carry excess items that turn up at the end of the bus back to the start and reinsert them.
I think you mean if you want to do it very right. Belt swapping with filter splitters is hilarious and should be done way more often :vKrazykrl wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2020 10:51 am You're using underneathies, that's cheating.
