And while you can't see it in the picture, also out of copper, iron, cables, green circuits, steel, gears...
Hence the warning about being totally impractical

I am finding it interesting watching the bus grow in map view as well as zoomed in to see the pretty colours. Can you tell what the factories are making just from looking at the input lines? The oil refinery jumps out at me when you start looking at the pipelines...
Oh and you can see I got tired of waiting for copper and iron and added in a few more furnaces to speed things up...

There go a hundred iron plates into a space science pack, they come in batches of thousand, so a hundred thousand plates to be produced, two seconds per plate -> 55 hours.

I did 'cheat' a little: once I had the first satellite, I told the splitters to prioritize materials for the rocket parts over materials for the satellites... likewise satellites and rocket part materials for the rocket silo over filling the bus. My plan is that once I have launched the first satellite, I will add the research lab to use all those lovely science packs...
