Make hotkey+swipe for ghost-building

TL;DR
Possibility hold a hotkey to build the "ghosts" of the buildings taken in the hand, without having to endless rotation (or Q-clicking) and be careful not to delete another "ghost"

What ?
It would be great to be able to "take" the building in your hand and hold hotkey to build "ghost" (in the right direction), while it would NOT build in another place, would not remove another ghost (this is especially important)
Why ?
After playing over 600 hours in several different sessions (including with friends on the network), I realized that in the game I did not like only one thing - the beginning of the game before the advent of robots. Not because it's boring and not interesting, no. And because you spend many hours drawing a "ghost", and then you suffer with it through the combination of "Q + click" to build.
Now I see exactly 2 problems with this:
1) You have to constantly press "Q + click" to build (especially true for belts). Many-many-many-many Q-clicks
2) You are constantly afraid to miss 1 cell. You will either build the building not where necessary, or you will build the building not where necessary PLUS remove the other "ghost". It's a shame when you notice it only after a couple of hours of the game, when your random “miss” broke half of the production chain.

No. I did not find a single one that would fit my description. All that Google offers on my request is "Nanobots: Early Bots", "Autobuild" and "Player auto build". These are absolutely cheating modes that completely break the mechanics and interest of the game. I don’t want to break the perfectly balanced mechanics of the game, I just want to get rid of the terrible Q -clicking routine (and even more - protection the fear of remove “ghost” during construction)

And lastly - in fact, I ask you to enter into the game ... what is already in it! I'm talking about power lines. If you put a "ghost" drawing, and date set the first line and draw it while holding the left mouse button - the lines will be installed only where they are on the ground (if you do not move outside the connection). That is, in fact, this mechanic has already been introduced into the game, why not "fix" it and "tune" it a little

You forgot to mention the bluebuilt mods. They save you the Q and the click so some might consider that cheating.

When you stand still Bluebuild will build any ghost in your reach that you can build at 10 entities/s. It can also deconstruct things within reach.

As said, it saves you the Q and the click. It automatically builds.

So this is exactly what I wrote about in the paragraph about addons - this is absolutely cheating and not interesting mechanics, which:
1) Completely replaces robots, which breaks the mechanics of the game
2) An absolute cheat that makes the game uninteresting. The game seems to play for me.

I just wanted to see the “protection” of ghosts and the ability to build what is in my hand without the need to press Q 100500 times to expand the building, even if it is already in my hand. That's all, nothing more

Not at all. Construction bots don't need you standing next to the ghost. They are still very much useful.

If you find bluebuild too much of a cheat then start modding. Shouldn't be too hard to revive ghosts in on_entity_built when over a ghost and prevent the building if it would remove other ghosts.

I think we are talking with you about different things. I do not aim to “automate” the construction (as these add-ons do), I am more interested in removing the boring routine, which, due to constant repetitions, can lead to an error in working with “ghosts”. Plus, these add-ons spend my resources on those sections, which, say, I set temporarily and are not going to build now. They just build everything in a radius of 10 cells from me.

I have no experience in modding and programming, but maybe it’s really worth a try, thanks for the advice :)

It's the next level of factorio. First you craft by hand, then you get assemblers to craft for you and now you are going to have factorio place assemblers for you to craft stuff. :)
