Well, some progress is better then none. Hopefully the time invested now will pay off in the long run.
As far as i can say the 10.8 version was near bug free, so it seems a reasonable assumption that 0.10.9 might be the final stable version.
Really hoping for more news about multiplayer... but i understand that it's still far away. Maybe you can give us a little sneak peak video sometime... would be a nice addition for a friday facts mid-september.

Best of luck finding the programmer of your dreams! :D

Looking great!

Since the tanks are 3D models to begin with, would it be too much effort to export more than just 8 angles? Or is this just for previewing?

What is the difference between the 3 tank types?

I see the tracks are different, but what does it mean for the tank?

Faster acceleration/top speed/rotation or different uses like normal, rail and sea?

Woo! Facts! Great to hear about your efforts and passion for code efficiency. It's a sign of people who know what they're doing and a project that is being managed well. That being said, we don't want to hear you saying that "there isn't much progress", it's an almost British level of self-deprecation and it's just not on. Reading that short snippet of what you've accomplished in a week looks like plenty of progress to me!

Tank. He will probably be slow. A lot of resources to create. Ammunition lot. My suggestions:

Image

1 Quick
2 Maneuverable
3 Less costly
4 Compact
5. Convenient

I would like to have some kind of tree harvester:

You just run through a forest and there is no more forest, and you have wood collected in the storage.

Mira would be a female name. Long í.

As for the tanks, all three variants are incredible. I'm confused as whether you're implying you're currently considering picking one for the final design, or whether all three will be implemented and will have different stats. Assuming the former is the case, they all pack about the same amount of charm, but the upper one is the most readable, as it took me a moment to realize where the front was for the other ones at a first glance, which wasn't the case here since the curled treads were a clear indication.

The north-east oriented tanks seem to have their guns absent.
Also, nice to see people with passion for good programming.

p.s. the fancy track shape of the top variant seems to fit into the general art-style the most, I think.
I do mods. Modding wiki is friend, it teaches how to mod. Api docs is friend too...
I also update mods, some of them even work.
Recently I did a mod tutorial.

Maybe you're looking at the wrong side of the turret?
