What does everyone else do with all the fish? I must have 10000 raw fish in storage??

I found this mod which uses fish to make lubricant and heavy oil. Also, I could imagine using this mod together with an aquafarm could be helpful to set up chemical production when there are no significant oil patches in the vicinity. However, as I hardly had time for playing lately (guess I'll wait until the 0.17 release before I start again), I haven't actually tried either mod yet, so I don't know whether enough fish could be generated to make this chain worthwhile. A good mod deserves a good changelog. Here's a tutorial (WIP) about Factorio's way too strict changelog syntax!

Well fish exist for eating. But typically you don't need 10,000. (You could launch them to space).

Achievement for storing million fishes could be introduced.

Absolutely. Well, it's just as plausible as people believing they won't run out of money the whole year long if they keep a scale from the carp they've eaten at New Year's day in their wallet.

I wondered the same thing the first time I saw a reference to fish. Go to a lake, they seem to be in shallow water, not deep water (light blue not dark blue), and you will see teeny-tiny shadows moving around. Fish! Mine them the same way you mine trees or rocks.

Yeah, and I think you could once use an inserter to pluck the fish out of the water automatically when they came within range... How on earth did you wind up with 10000 fish!!?????? Unless you've got a mod to auto-harvest them, you have to collect them manually (by hand or deconstruction order) AFAIK.
