Power Poles

Hi Guys, Ive been away from the game a bit due to real life. Started today again, all new. I can't seem to find the power poles(you know the small skinny ones we build out of wood). Beginning of the game and running up and down like a headless chicken. Manually loading labs to do research, but helas, no power poles to craft showing. What am I missing???

Uh, they should be available immediately in the "Logistics" tab (left most tab) of the crafting window. Are you running any mods?

Hi, here with a snip of logistics, I do run mods but am not sure where to get the list installed on the game. Gosh, I sound like a real greenie. Thanks for the help

Press E to open the inventory, press ctrl+f to activate search mode, type "small electric pole" (or your language equivalent). There should be only one entry on the right side now.

Edit: If you have mods try ctrl+f search mode on the technology screen (press T), maybe you have to research them first.

From within the game, if you go to the menu and click save game, you'll see a list of the mods in the upper right. If you have enough, you'll need to scroll to see them all. Since you have mods, it is possible you need to research wooden planks or something which simultaneously will allow making wooden electric poles.

I found the culprit: CoalPower caused it. Deleted and restarted and voila.. I'm on the road.. Thank you so much.

In the Coal Powered mod page it says:

Known issues:

Power poles - removed (wait for future use in combinator logistic)

It doesn't seem to indicate it was fixed...

No problem. I'd also point out, I don't recognize some of those mods, so I have no idea what they do. If you don't either, you should probably review them all and make sure you want to be using them. Have fun and good luck.

As you see, you have two electric lamps, one of them can be also power pole.
