Is it better now?

Is there interest in this? If there is, I can post this somewhere else (releases seems to limit posting to devs, so probably general), list sources, keep this updated, etc.
The wiki has source links though. Which is nice. (As i didn't recognize 2 things on your list and wanted to know where they came from. Turns out i don't read enough reddit :p.).
How about updating the wiki page to include the color scheme?
Well yeah, but that doesn't say what's done and what's not ;).
eradicator wrote:How about updating the wiki page to include the color scheme?
That something is in an FFF doesnt mean it's done or even being worked on. This means that the colors in the list in the post are wrong in a few places. Putting that on the wiki would mean that I either intentionally misinform people, or leak non-public information. I don't want to do either of those things.
I'm an admin over at https://wiki.factorio.com. Feel free to contact me if there's anything wrong (or right) with it.

I can add source links if you want, I just want to know if this is actually I thing I should spend time maintaining first.

Sure, but you can make educated guesses (and some things have probably progressed, and some guesses should be slightly more conservative) due to what is mentioned, wordings, pictures, etc., and that could be improved with a little more in-depth reading of some of my sources. I'm not intentionally misleading anyone, and I'm only using public information. I see nothing wrong with that.

I suggest that the wiki page should be modified with the following coloring. Keep the references, no "educated guesses", no further analysis, only facts. Leave the judging to the reader. Trust me. I already did a number of "educated guesses" (here), and I learned my lesson. If you are not sure between 2 colors, pick the one with the lower number on this list.
Blue: No info / Not confirmed / The developers at least mentioned that they might do it + there is further reason why this should be on the list
Red: Confirmed that it is on the to-do list / The developers said they will (or likely) do this, no further info
Yellow: Confirmed to be in progress or they talked about it more deeply in an FFF post
Green: Confirmed to be implemented in their internal build; Maybe they shared a gif in an FFF post showing a working example

An understandable stance. However i see a different possibility: You're a staff member, you can actually ask someone in charge if it's ok to confirm a feature on the wiki. If they say no you simply list it as unconfirmed even if you know it's already half done ;). You could reduce the color scheme to two colors (or split the list in two parts), "confirmed" and "unconfirmed" (or maybe vague "likely"/"unlikely") if things get too complicated otherwise. That is ofc, if the additional maintenance required for that isn't too high ^^.
I think the other side of the coin is more of an issue. Say, for instance, that the Spidertron turned out to do something horrible and was permanently cut, but that information is not yet public. What should Bilka (or any staff member, for that matter) put on the wiki page?
If I (a player now, not trying to think like a staff member any more) were to notice that a staff member edited that page and left Spidertron under "Possible features", I'd think something like "Ah-ha! A staff member says that's a thing they're working on." I could see some anger when people figure out the actual status, at the time of the edit, was "Sorry. Nope. Not happening. But I'm not allowed to tell you that yet."

Okay, I'll see what I can do.

The annotated roadmap can be found here. I am considering using another color (probably blue). I think I'll have not confirmed as another section for now - maybe have blue be "largely complete" or "shown in FFF, but not necessarily entirely done" - the thing is, it can be rather hard to distinguish between that and "completed".

Don't forget to add colorblind version (just joking, this must have been a lot of work, good job).

If it's at the top it's green, if it's at the bottom it's red. Deal with it .
Thanks.

i wish they released an update every time they finished a new feature...
i also thing they confused "low priority" and "planned", especially that car handling multiplayer latency.
and where is the new laser tower?
hello Devs
Is it possible to release the changes for the editor befor 0.17 if 0.17 release is far away
I love creating scenarios and Maps and looking soo exited forward to the new features https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-252

If they granted even one request like that (assuming it's even possible to make that work in 0.16) other people would start asking for "just this" and "just that" and before you know it there's another flamewar. And nobody knows how far away 0.17 really is.

Please don't release 0.17 before the 22nd of December. This is my last semester of school so I want to do it right.
