10 000 SPM / 92GW power / 500 trains /1460 stops
Sorry for my English.
p.s. I'm looking for a job.
Edit notes:
1.03.2018 added some electric screens and recomendation.
28.03.2018 just topic name changed.
Argh I just switch to 4 spaces in order to fit with a design of X-junction I like...zggz wrote: 3. Space between rails: 3!
locally i'm produce: belts, inserters, pipe, copper cable and iron rear wheels.Aeternus wrote:Post a couple of screens of your production patterns. You seem to have a similar mindset as me for designing a big old plant with production mods allround. What do you produce and ship around, and what do you just produce locally? IE do you produce engines and ship those to blue research makers, or do you produce those engines on the spot?
Yours system will work. Try to build this in real gameMisterSpock wrote:I has some of my:

Really cool factory. Like this big Factories.
One question do i have:
Which map configuration did you choose dir this big structure?
Greetings dave
Pls make another topic with a lot of screens. It will be interesting.
Yep.
Did you get 12k by using belts ? Its hard to see from the pic
Yeah using belts. But I use trains to bring ores in, and about 40 stations turn on and off based on how empty they are. Each station outputs 32 belts. So I can still increase SPM. My trains are 32+4. I stopped playing this map awhile ago tho. I play using bobs/angels mods now. Basically just trying to make the game harder instead of trying to build the biggest base I can. The grid I made is 10x10 chunks. The only use I have for bots are just to transport nuclear fuel to train stations. It's really hard to optimize at this stage because it's running at 10-12ups, so it takes forever. I play on a TR1 16 core too with 64gb RAM.
Haha I was planning on making the biggest base I can then making a thread here, but I gave up on that, even tho my base is big, it's not as optimized. The ones I need to optimize more is the plates, I have assemblers that are starving when everything is running.
The reason you are at 45UPS when idle is the explored map. The more you explore the more it tanks the game. That map could most likely never be optimized to a decent UPS
