I like this. Very clean, strait forward design. I might have to build this.

Hello.

Just a short question for my personal understanding.
I am counting 240 turbines, but the optimal Ratio for turbines would be 248.
Am I right in my calculation?

Are the heat pipes able to transfer all the heat? They look a bit long.

240 is maximum 12 pumps can support. Each pump supports separate column made of 12 boilers and 20 turbines. It's intentionally separated (until the steam colector at the end). Shared pumps tend to work wonky and I didn't want that. I think that interconnecting columns would hit UPS a bit too - fluids are generally not well optimized.

That they will, but that does not mean that they can transport all then heat.

Check if the reactor reaches maximum temperature (999) , that indicates that the heat pipes fail to transfer all heat generated by the reactor

First time I hear such thing about reactors, my reactors frequently stay below 1000oC, even with very short heat pipes.

Heat pipes work like regular pipes. So shorter pipes transfer more heat.
If the pipes are to long they cannot transfer all the heat.

This can be solved by adding more heat pipes, a double row of heat pipes transfer twice as much heat.

It should be easy to test, make a reactor with a short pipe and one with a long, and add enough heat exchangers and turbines to process all heat, and keep the turbines running by using all provided power.

This definitely works a lot better with double heat pipes top and bottom. Without that it doesn't run all turbines at full power. With that change and maybe an improved insertion logic it's a nice design :)
