In the research, it shows as "beam". (unrelated: odd coloring only shows in screenshot)
But in the combat robot tooltip, it shows as "electric".
And in the bonuses, it just says "damage".

Yep I just noticed this too.. For a moment I thought destroyers weren't getting buffed...
Beam = Electric it seems. Would have to be changed imo.

As I recall the code for that,
beam is the projectile that shoots (like it says, its a beam)
electric is the type of damage it does (type is electric, like it could be poison, explosive, physical etc)

After brief brainstorm about rewording the bonus description we decided to keep it as is.
It could be "Damage of beams of combat robots: +30%" but I think current wording is better. The fact that combat robots beams happen to deal electric damage is quite irrelevant to the technology upgrade so it shouldn't mention damage type. Mod can create a combat robot which would shoot fire beams and the bonus would still apply.
