[Request] Set Map Zoom Factor

Hello guys,

the new super shiny map broke with the last two updates.
Klonan told us that this is a feature not a bug.

For me this broke the new exciting map feature. It makes absolutely now sense to see less in map than outside of the map.

Well, would it be possible to get a motivated modder wich will hear our prayers (Oh yes, I'm not the only one. ^^) and write something, so we can have an option to set the zoom factor?
Or at least see like 2 or 3 chunks more when in map view.

Its not possible to change this with a mod.

So would it be possible to make some kind of graphic settings for it in the options?
