I'm going to do some guesswork now:
Can you check if anywhere on the track, is a signal that points in the opposite direction? If the train can only go towards a signal that is pointing in the other direction, the train will refuse to go there.
I also tried to manually ride it and it could go all the way around...
By the way I don't have any signals on the track...
Thank you anyway for the replies
I'm not entirely sure, but maybe trains at least need some signals to function automated? I never actually tried to run trains without any signals.
Concerning image hosting: The easiest way to make the images work is by uploading the image files themselves to a host like imgur.com. Right now, you've given a document file to the forum software, which it can't interpret as an image.
About the images:
yes.. I fill dumb about that :p but I made them go as images in google drive correctly (not as documents) and the result was the same. I'll try imgur.com next time, thanks
About the trains:
I'll try to put some signals up then, see if that helps...
I have had a look into your savegame.. You built the station one square too high. Its not near a straight railwaytrack now. You seem to have build the station, then deconstructed the tracks nearby. Just rebuild the train station or rebuild the loop with adding at least one straight track element near the station.
By the way, craft a pickaxe tool. It also speeds up picking up and deconstructiong items like tracks or assemblers.
