On some machines with long info lists on the right side of the screen when left-clicked ie. Assemblers, Roboports, Chemical Plants, The information overlaps with the bottom-right HUD and makes it unreadable. For the time being I'll switch it to a further zoomed out HUD, but a fix would be appreciated as I'm not really comfortable with zooming out. I'm playing on a laptop with a 15" screen.
Thanks for making this game, devs. I'm in love with it.

I don't understand the screenshot you've uploaded. It's just 95% white.. why?

I think what he is talking about is: The weapons/armor quick bar is drawn on top of the info window. In .12x the weapon window would render underneath the info window.

Ah, if that's the case then that's a known issue.Nexela wrote:I think what he is talking about is: The weapons/armor quick bar is drawn on top of the info window. In .12x the weapon window would render underneath the info window.
There's too much information to be shown at lower resolutions.

1920x1080 is a lower resolution? What's the recommended? <checks Steam> Hmm, no recommended display size.
Re: [0.13.4] Overlapping HUD on Some Machines
You must have some high UI scale on your computer. It doesn't overlap for me at that resolution.Jürgen Erhard wrote:1920x1080 is a lower resolution? What's the recommended? <checks Steam> Hmm, no recommended display size.

Re: [0.13.4] Overlapping HUD on Some Machines
I don't get an overlap on my 1366x768 laptop monitor, with UI scale set to default... So probably you set the UI scaling too high.
And I seem to remember someone once giving 1024x768 as the minimum resolution, but I'm not sure.

Re: [0.13.4] Overlapping HUD on Some Machines
Ah, I do have a metric shitton of stuff in my network 12 rows, 7 columns, 73 icons. Scaled to 80%, I can see all... and then you also notice that it wastes space because the number of columns isn't adaptive, it's fixed to six columns. Oh, and I just now noticed that it "wastes" almost a full column of . Oh,icons and at 80%, I see enough unused space for another column, easy.
Basically, I didn't factor in my all-bots game (I'm in love with all those logistics bots, and I tend to do away with belts *completely*), which makes my network inventory huge.
But also, that sidebar code is wonky. At 80%, the minimap jumps in size *very* noticably (I also saw it at 100, but not as jarring) when I hover on a chest an the network is shown... due to the number of construction bots I guess. 259/261
