well i know some of the boilers have fuel in them. i dont know what changed but it may be a bug since this is not a new save

I loaded up your savegame with the mods you provided on Factorio 0.12.26. Aside from a list of items removed, everything was functioning just fine. The boilers were boiling, the generators were generating. I even flew around in your airplane to drop bombs on the natives. Everything was humming normally. Your base was only using ~30 MW, so only the 3.3-Generator-Ps were running. P stands for primary. The 14.7-Generator-Ss were not running because they were not needed and also they are secondary. So until the primaries are saturated, the secondaries won't run. If I pulled a large group of biters toward the laser, sure enough the 14.7-Generator-Ss kick on.

Also, if you run out of power it is because you setup electric water pump. Obviously you are setting yourself to enter a cycle of death when you don't have enough power to keep the electric water pump working to generate power. So there is nothing wrong here. You sure you slept enough? :roll:

I highly doubt it. It is more likely you stressed your grid too much and lost enough pumping capacity to cause a death spiral toward no electricity. Replace the electric water pumps with burner version and see if that helps.

I see how you arnt getting the error. In the zip folder i provided, it is yuoki v 12.40. Would you mind updating it to 12.43 and seeing what it does?

Like I said, there is no error. The message that you see when you load the savegame is simply to tell you certain items have changed names or have been removed. As for your problem, it's simple really. Your electric grid is incapable of providing power for all of those lasers. They are sapping all of the power you are producing, leaving no power for the electric pumps and electric miners, which are providing coal/fuel for your boilers. So you spiral downward towards a complete shutdown.

Yuoki lasers in 0.12.43 had their power consumption and buffer changed, so you are paying the price for building too many without having enough power to back it up.

It would seem that would be the problem, thank you. My question is now, is the best power generation method to be able to use all these laser? I have a quantrinium reactor but i dont know how to set it up.

From the look of it, you need power in the 200-300 MW at peak capacity. You need many many Rensuirs or many TMFWs . The Quantrinium reactor provides only a liquid that must be heated. The liquid is useful in that it has very high heat capacity so you can conduct a lot of energy to the generators. Generating that liquid alone won't do you any good unless you can heat it.

You can take a look at this build and see if you can make it. This is 200 MW capable. Blueprint it and replicate.

Yea it seems since the laser buffer was increased a bit it just took everything out of my power system. the new system is deffinately better than the old one

Also one thing has been stumping me. How do you use the Zero time transfer weapon?

works like a laser-weapon with higher fire-rate and range. high hitpoints make this a good choice for important defense-points. but of course you need some backup/support weapons.
