Version 0.16.44

Minor Features
  • Added technology price multiplier PvP scenario config.
Changes
  • Underground belt marked for deconstruction no longer connects to other underground belts.
Bugfixes Modding
  • Added support to set ReactorPrototype::neighbour_collision_increase which controls how much a reactor extends when connected to other reactors.
Scripting
  • Allow technology_price_multiplier to be less than 1 by script/scenario only.
  • Added support for localised strings in LuaGameScript::write_file.
Use the automatic updater if you can (check experimental updates in other settings) or download full installation at http://www.factorio.com/download/experimental.

Too bad there is now a research bug. Waiting for hotfix ... again.

The developers are fast, but there has more than a few hotfixes that could be avoided by just manually loading a save.

Any1 out there with one sciencepack cost per lategame endless research? Is it a mod causing this or the update?

I suppose 16.40 gave them some debugging material for that bug ;)

Is this the setting where you can specify globally that you need less resources to make things?
I've never changed this myself, but why would this not be allowed lower than 1?

Has this version been deleted??

I was doing a playthrough on it but it's no longer an option in the betas menu. :(

It is still available on the website, but late game research is fundamentally broken so you should update anyway. For the steam install you should generally use the stable release if updating in between a playthrough would be a problem.
