Re: Friday Facts #261 - Performance + New player interaction
The yellow color of the arrows does make it hard to see on some terrain like desert and anything light colored. Also the color of the player is sometimes hard to see depending on what color you are as well as the color of the terrain (e.g. Black in a forest with large shadowy areas). The downside is...

Re: Friday Facts #195 - Poles re-design
OK. My opinion on the whole electrical system when I first started playing was if you tech up to substations why use the other poles anymore other than the big ones to transport power over long distances. Now that I have several hours and days and a year or two under my experience tool belt I realiz...

[0.15.3] Nuclear Reactor Setup Expandable?
I need someone to look at this and see if it would work as expandable nuclear power where all you need to do is add to it to either side. This is my blueprint string. 0eNqdnd1OY0kShN/F13h0MuufV1mNVgasbktgkDGrabX63ReGZca7WxknwlctmubrrFNRWZmRxv65uXt827+cDsfz5vbn5nD/fHzd3P7j5+b18O24e/z4u/OPl/3mdnM47582...

Re: [15.0] Crash when zooming in from the map on: "d3d_draw_bitmap_region_optimised"
I get the same thing I can't use my mouse wheel so I use my UP and DOWN arrow keys to zoom and use shift plus those keys for the alternate zoom and on the map i use the alternate zoom to zoom in from the map to the game screen and immediately crash and I am playing single player right now.

and an additional "repair by combining" tool could be researched that (only on demand) compresses a damaged stack to a corresponding healthy stack with fewer items. How about this idea for combining: You place (or find) a damaged turret on the ground. Then you take another turret in the h...

Re: Friday Facts #160 - Playtesting
Play don't starve . The item stacking is fair, expected, and not too hard. say you have a stack of 5 items with 100% health - 500 / 500 (5) you add one with 49% - 549 / 600 (6) you add another with 49% - 598 / 700 (7) ... so the average health of the whole stack is 85% note that you aren't losing a...

Re: Friday Facts #160 - Playtesting
My only problem with the damaged stacking is with turrets and laser turrets. scenario is you go to place a healthy turret down and you could place an almost dead turret instead as you have no idea which one is going to be placed. if you have it where when you combine the damaged turrets together eit...

Re: [MOD 0.12.x] Security Cameras
If you update this to 12.20 I will definitely download this and use it because I am all the time having to figure out why my trains stopped and its usually because of a traffic jam outside of my radar ranges and radars put such a strain on your power when there is a lot of them

Re: Yuoki Industries - Informations, Suggestions, Questions
MantisShrimp reason I was asking is because it would have been cool to have a map where you needed to find a way to make water for further outpost bases and for like a scenario where the map is all desert and there is no water either way it would have been cool to have that certain recipe just for s...

Re: Yuoki Industries - Informations, Suggestions, Questions
I updated and it worked great now thanks for that also the trains are cute and all but I would love to use them more if you had each type of cargo wagon filter for that type like the copper covered wagon only accepted copper ore or plates then it would make the smaller cargo size more worth while al...

Re: [0.12.2] Windows 10 and Factorio
I found out my problem I had the port forward set with WIndows 7 with a static local IP when I upgraded to Windows 10 it changed my local IP to get a random IP instead of my static one to set a static one you punch in your local Gateway (router) IP which in example would be like 192.168.254.254 and ...

[0.12.2] Windows 10 and Factorio
It seems to me that when I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and a friend of mine upgraded on another computer he now cannot connect to me in multiplayer in Windows 7 it worked just fine. I don't know if this is a Factorio issue or a Windows 10 issue but I figured it would not hurt to let you gu...
