Agree. That would be so nice for inserters too, comparing the red signal to the green signal in the condition for the inserter. Seems like low hanging fruit.

Adding an option to always show normal quality icons on items


What?
I quite often find the lack of the normal quality icon confusing so I would really like a option to always display the icons of normal quality items/signals/etc.

Currently this is how it looks:

The wording of this is a bit misleading. It is actually centering on the first spidertron that was added to the remote.

With all of the se new weapons, I do hope they consider unlocking more weapon slots for the engineer, and/or a faster way to changes weapons.

Console output is hidden beneath top quickbar slot

When I have 3 or 4 quickbars open very long rows of console (or chat) output gets hidden under the quickbar. See attached picture.

Suggestion:
Move the bottom row of the console to be above the top quickbar.

Add "show-chunk-grid" in Debug Settings

In the Debug Settings (F4) there is an option "show-tile-grid" that does exactly what it sounds like.

However, I think it would be really helpful if there was a corresponding option for showing only the chunk-grid. It would also be nice if it showed on more zoomed out levels in the map mode ...

My bad. I did a search for "preview" and also looked at the last two pages of posts here in Bug Reports, guess the search was a bit wonky. :roll:

[0.17.3] Preview takes up too big portion of the map generator, can't change map settings.

I had changed in config.ini (before updating to 0.17):
max-map-preview-chunk-side=32 and that worked fine, but then I reverted back to
max-map-preview-chunk-side=64 which should be the default and well, picture says it all, the preview is huge which makes.

The title says most of it.
I have mapped Backspace to "pick up items on the ground" , as shown in picture.
(I have a mouse with 12 thumbbuttons, mapped to 0-9 as well as Backspace and Return, but it doesn't work with Backspace on my actual keyboard either).
This worked in 0.16 so seems like a new ...
