Add "show-chunk-grid" in Debug Settings

Post by soldans »

In the Debug Settings (F4) there is an option "show-tile-grid" that does exactly what it sounds like.

However, I think it would be really helpful if there was a corresponding option for showing only the chunk-grid. It would also be nice if it showed on more zoomed out levels in the map mode compared to how far zoomed out.

This would really help for base planning and distance appraisal, without cluttering the screen as much as the tile grid does, in particular; the tile grid does tender to darken the screen a fair bit when zoomed out.

you can turn this option on as the only one in dev mode and then toggle dev mode by pressing f5 at least thats how i do it to get the grid ingame especially multiplayer cause you cant pause the game there

-- edit: oh you are talking about chunk-grid well yes why not

It can be same grid, but the density of this grid must be dependent to zoom level.

ChunkyChunks - Configurable Gridlines by Qon
Chunk aligned blueprints? Display chunk lines without the annoying tile lines that the debug option adds. Configurable grids at any sizes if your blueprints are substation, chunk, roboport or radar sized (or any other size)!
