Re: [0.18.15] JSON Parse error for world listing response

Yeah, about 10 minutes after the post it all was fine again.

I don't exactly get how the problems of your web service provider don't relate to you, but that's not my concern.

Thanks for checking.

[0.18.15] JSON Parse error for world listing response

At the moment it's not possible to view the worlds list. The error shown is: failed to parse JSON response: Unterminated string I expect this is caused by a weird world name that is not properly escaped. But it could be anything of course. This makes it impossible to connect to my server world. http...

factorio.com server hosting

TL;DR As a business plan after 1.0, you could setup a factorio server hosting for continuous revenue. What ? At the moment I rent a server at nodecraft. Those guys do a terrific job at it and I'm very happy with their service. But in 2 months I've already paid them more than I paid Wube for my 1500...

Re: Cliff explosives should undo placed landfill destroy ores

I like this idea!

It doesn't require a new item or new recipe and makes a very niche item more useful.
We've all had to build over an ore patch one time while our heart bled. And undoing a misplaced landfill would be an awesome feature too.

Bah, the voice of reason is strong in this forum. But it's fun that a bug hunter gets appreciated by the community. :)

Really love the post apocalypse scenario. It makes me realise the added value of a campaign.

[0.17.1] Out of oil on island map

Hi, this isn't technically a bug I guess. I get that playing on an island map you are a bit restricted in resources, that's the point. But I couldn't finish the game, because there wasn't enough oil available. I was playing normally with default settings and no mods. On my map there was only one oil...

Re: Friday Facts #277 - GUI progress update

There are lots of games that I enjoy plaing wave defense with. But I love factorio for everything else and I don't think wave defense is a particular good fit with the general idea of the game. For me, at least.
