[0.18.15] JSON Parse error for world listing response

Post by winkbrace »

At the moment it's not possible to view the worlds list. The error shown is: failed to parse JSON response: Unterminated string

I expect this is caused by a weird world name that is not properly escaped. But it could be anything of course.

This makes it impossible to connect to my server world.

Works fine for me in 0.18.15.

A few quick searches seem to indicate that a 520 server error might indicate an issue with response from the origin server(s) to the CDN.

Our web service provider has been giving 520 errors every now and then these days. Doesn't seem to be related to us.

Yeah, about 10 minutes after the post it all was fine again.

I don't exactly get how the problems of your web service provider don't relate to you, but that's not my concern.

Thanks for checking.

It's quite possible, that the page you're requesting from the CDN isn't being served due to an issue or problem with the CDN itself, and nothing at all to do with the servers that Wube has any direct control over.

In any case, glad it seems to be working for you.
