Re: Early massive biter attack

I also had a really big attack (maybe not as big as your deathworld one), maybe 30 biters in the super early game. I had around 16 burner miners going, and had researched the first tech, and halfway to walls. Only reason I could survive was a bit of save scumming and using 2 layers of pipes to make ...

Re: Ammonia in Rocket Fuel

I enjoyed my 3/s rocket fuel build, but I admit I did go WAT when I saw how much ammonia was needed. Then I went and designed a few blueprints for it, and slapped them down at opposite ends to supply the oxidizer and the propellant. This was when I only had MK0 or MK1 speed modules, and I've been sc...

Re: Bugs & FAQ

Minor issue: When using Angel's Petrochem, Refining and Smelting, you can craft Copper, Iron and Steel powder, but it has no use. I'm thinking about doing a Angel's with no Bobs run with 0.17 I wouldn't mind even running just the oil and gas refining alone. I think it would just need to export plast...

Re: [0.16.x] Bob's Mods: General Discussion

Re NaOH, looking at wikipedia
Worldwide production in 2004 was approximately 60 million tonnes, while demand was 51 million tonnes.
It seems like there is a similar overproduction in the real world too.

Re: Development and Discussion

However I don't see so far why I would want to use Ferrous Powder Sorting, the Nickel has been more of a waste product than anything for now ! (The caveat obviously being that this is Seablock that i'm talking about, so it's almost offtopic here...) Getting nickel and cobalt lets you use a better s...

Re: Development and Discussion

The thing with Ferrous/Cupric ore is that it has no waste product and no catalyst or other. Just plain crushed ore to finished product(s). It's the most efficient way to create plates (I'm not considering power, but I think it wins there too). I don't see anything I get from later Ferrous/Cupric th...

Pumps max pump rate controlled by circuit network

TL;DR Circuit network can make a pump pump slower. What ? I would like to slow down a pump with the circuit network. PumpCircuit.png Ideally, this screen would have another radio button, "control rate". Then if I hooked up a signal with 100, the pump would only pump 100 units a second, in...
