imho landing is cooler.

Besides! It's a reward for people who keep playing after the official end. Ever play a super mario game made in the last decade? the "win" screen is in the middle, there's still so many challenges left to play.

TL;DR
Play the rocket animation in reverse. Reclaim most of your rocket cost, -fuel.
What?
lowers to-launch cost permanently. Must come after rocket launch. Therefore could be unlocked with space science.
Why?
If we can do it, Factorio person can do it.

reusable vs consumable

is it even possible to have, say, tier 1 fluid container that's consumable (eg a barrel that is pierced to drain) and tier 2 that's reusable (tank w valve) and then recipes would accept either one?

I don't think I've ever seen even a mod in which an assembler could do that.

TL;DR Similar filters used in MP game menu could be used to filter recent SP saves. What ? Instead of # players etc there could be Last played date, created date, hours played. Filters for mods like MP. Why ? WHY do you think it increases the value of Factorio as a game? I have many different games...

Problem:
The base game tutorial is not intended to be run with mods.
If I enable bobs+angels and run the tutorial, ore patches are not in their expected locations and instructions say "mine here!" with a big arrow pointing to nothing.

Solution:
Force tutorial to essential-only mods.

Aside from that... I actually perversely enjoy "hunt the troll", it's like a fancy version of Among Us. Could that be a game mode? No Mementos, no "last touched by", no map... just paranoia.
