Swarms with big biters/spitters as a majority, appears mid-game for me
Needless to say, I am a sucker for pollution. I want the biters and spitters TO COUGH DAT AIR AND SUFFER
What I'm trying to say is, since you go with low pollution (and not many spawner kills either, I believe) you are rewarded ...

could such a feature be a problem when figthing critters? would you be able to run/escape trough a forrest without stopping every time you run into a tree??

This is pretty game changing, so I doubt this will be added.
If this against all odds was to be realized, maybe there could be an option map gen to use it or not, as biome expansion may not be liked by everyone.

As others have said, you can't beat the train in terms of high throughput over long distances. And if you're not very keen on using pumps for tons of pipes, Oil (and other liquids if im correct ...

Some balancing discussions has turned into an eternal debate, the one i have in mind is the "belt is 10 times better than automated trains"-discussion.
