[0.13.10] Crash on Crafting any item

Whenever I craft an item, the game simply crashes. It happens on upgraded worlds and on newly created worlds.
Everything else seems to work fine: I can move around, interact with vehicles, open inventories, ...
Interestingly, the crash occurs after the item is done crafting (when the little progress spinny thing in the bottom left is done). When using recipes that require other items to be crafted, it only crashes on the last item.
I am using version 0.13.10 on linux (ubuntu 14.04, if that helps).
I am not using any mods.
