Re: Version 2.1.7

Biter/spitter spawners will emit a cloud of damaging acid if they are blocked from spawning units.

Was there a reason the "neutralizing spawners" was changed? It looked like the original stance was for this to be intended.
It's a bit of a shame since certain challenge runs like Michael ...

Re: [2.0.76] Roboport logistic requests only recall the first robot in a logistic group

Missed that. Thank you. Although this is all very confusing if you don't know where to dig into that. I spent a long time trying to remove drones using methods all too familiar; I could have done it within an hour, not 300. R.I.P Time.

Re: An Honest Review from a Modding Player β€” What Works, What Hurts, What Should Change

I've identified the potential drone recall issue. If more than one drone is added to the logistics group, it seems to work only for the first drone type. It seems not to recall any drones after that first drone type.

Re: An Honest Review from a Modding Player β€” What Works, What Hurts, What Should Change

Concrete example: science packs delivered by space platform land in the cargo landing pad and are routed to labs by belt. Occasionally a belt cleanup leaves stray science packs floating in the logistics network. The natural recovery is a requester chest that pulls the strays back onto the ...

I think there are some good points here. Would you mind providing the original prompt / compact list of notes? Reading through this much AI generated text is a bit painful

It was partially revised using months of chat logs. I asked Claude.AI, where I keep projects for things I am working on. I ...

No per-entity-type alert control. Vanilla offers global alert toggles (turn all "entity damaged" alerts on or off), but nothing per entity type.
No distinction between damage and destruction in alert config.
Runtime alert filtering doesn't actually kill audio.
The behavior players ...

Factorio: Space Age β€” A Late-Game Player's Review

A note before the review: I'm posting this on the Factorio forums because Steam's 8,000-character review limit can't accommodate the full content. My Steam review for the game links here for readers who want the complete write-up. If you arrived ...

Have you considered parameterizing the blueprint so you can choose a new item in one go when placing it, instead of having to edit a splitter, then copy its settings each time?
