If i have opened the game since, will the log have been overwritten?

I've verified the game files through steam, which notified me of a file being corrupted, but this didnt fix the problem
I have also verified the files existence and accessibility manually

Pretty much what it says on the tin, shift clicking weapons gives you:

but if I click and drag a stack of weapons onto the weapon slot this happens:

The slot still functions as a weapon and the effects don't stack or anything, but the bug isn't ...
