Re: Friday Facts #426 - Resource search & Assembler GUI improvements

The Map view where train tracks go diagonal thru the wall makes me wonder whether rail gates will work on diagonal or curved tracks now. Looking at the map some more, they're actually elevated tracks going *above* the wall. Looking at the map even more, the fact that there are walls & defenses ...

Re: Friday Facts #425 - Behind the legs

I think I agree that the old Spidertron movement looks better. Works great for the Pentapods, doesn't look nearly as good on a robot. It's kind of twitchy and jerky. It's lost some of what made mechanical and cool. So regarding the twitching/jerking: that's my bad. The video I uploaded to FFF actua...

Buttons, Levers, and Pressure plates

TL;DR Pretty much just Minecraft Buttons, Levers, and Pressure plates for circuit networks. What? I think these could work by pressing and holding interact for Buttons, tapping interact for Levers, and walking on Pressure plates, and they all output their state to the circuit network. Why? I think ...

Re: Friday Facts #424 - Gleba Pentapod Enemies

From how they wrote it I assumed similar, that one kinda could make something like a "Pentapod nature reserve", and occasionally culling them when you need more. That said, they have not written anything whether the egg rafts respawn somehow (and if then I overlooked it). But I assume the...

Re: Friday Facts #423 - Research info tooltip & Online players GUI

It might be nice if the research info also had some way of presenting β€œyour research is currently limited by the supply of <name> science pack”. Perhaps it could count and graph the number of labs that are idle because they have some, but not all, required science packs. That would help spot β€œoopsΒ ...

Re: The Blueprint Hub

There is no current alternative for console players aside from either building their blueprints entirely by hand or asking friends on PC to bring it to them. I think the third one is the main point we're trying to address here, so does anyone have ideas on how to work with that? Probably not what y...

As to the idea of having an in-game browser that connects to a specific website, I know of at least two games that currently run on the switch that currently have that function.

Re: Change Concrete Recipe to something more 'realistic'

Oh, right, what I missed because I didn't search deep enough is that Portland cement is 95% blast-furnace slag - a by-product of smelting iron (& steel) from... iron ore ! P.S.: It would be *very* nice if Factorio had a built-in "Factoriopedia" - I learned quite a bit of history "...

It's showing that the account you are logged in with does not own a license to the game. This has nothing to do with steam.
ohhhhhh i have to have bought the game here or on steam ohhhhhhhhh

but still, it would be nice if anybody could use bookmarks.

Re: let people who don't have factorio on steam add mods to their bookmarks

There is no such limit, you can even set the bookmarks on https://mods.factorio.com/library/bookmarks in the browser. nope, i need factorio on steam to do that - i was suggesting removing that limit there. How do you know Steam has anything to do with it? Can you provide an error message screenshot...

let people who don't have factorio on steam add mods to their bookmarks

TL;DR make it so that anyone with a factorio.com account can add mods to their bookmarks. What ? read TL;DR Why ? there are some players (like me), that don't have factorio on steam, but would like to have a list of mods they would like to use, but they can't, because only people with factorio on s...

Re: The Blueprint Hub

I'm curious to understand how it works, like the blueprinthub is downloaded with the game ? so you can accesss it in singleplayer/offline ? So if there are 12 million blueprint, you need to have the whole folder somewhere in your computer ? and you update it everytime you play, to see if your frien...
