Can we please have this? Please?

I mean, it's been a suggestion for 10 years and it's such a reasonable feature to have...

Re: [Twinsen][1.1.69][switch] Unsetting certain controls leave game mostly inaccessible

I still think an in-game touchscreen button to access the main menu would be a useful addition regardless, and it'd mostly solve the issue as a bonus side effect.

[1.1.72] Craters drawn on top of train tracks

Craters (like from cliff explosives) are drawn on top of the gravel/railroad ties on train tracks.

I'm assuming they should be underneath everything.

Sort load game dialog by most recently played

A button to sort the load game dialog by most recently played would be stellar.

Re: [0.17.79] Remove whack-a-mole mini-game from production graph (trigger warning: video may induce anxiety)

Why is the production graph interface still a nightmare? There's some good ideas in this thread, if I do say so myself. I feel like that UI has been around long enough that it deserves a little bit of love, the buttons are fast-moving targets and it's been an issue for many years now, since at least...

[bug] Word wrapping breaks punctuation after URLs

I filed this issue on the phpBB bug tracker but they told me to post it here , which seems silly but... --- When a BBCode [/url] closing tag is followed by a punctuation character, word wrapping can still insert a line break between the end of the generated URL and the punctuation. For example, the ...

Thanks for the report however flip does not currently interact with tiles in any way. Moving to ideas and suggestions.
Sounds good. Rotate works so it seems reasonable for flip to work, too.

[1.1.70] Cancel during "loading multiplayer map" or "catching up" hangs Factorio

When joining a multiplayer game, if ESC is pressed during "catching up", it brings up the game menu. If "quit game" is selected, it hangs the game. Eventually the game quits, I think maybe after "catching up" finishes anyways? But while it's hung like this, the menu sta...

[1.1.70] Flip does not work on hazard concrete

The flip command does not affect hazard concrete's orientation. Steps: 1. Put a hazard concrete ghost in hand (such as a single piece, or a paste/bp containing one or more hazard concretes) 2. Use the flip command Expected: Hazard concrete pattern flipped left-to-right i.e. reversed, rotated, whatev...

"Cancel" button on map download + catching up dialogs

When joining a multiplayer game, it would be nice if there were a "cancel" button on both the "downloading map" and "catching up" progress dialogs, so you don't have to force terminate the process if a map is unreasonably huge or catching up isn't working out for you. N...

Re: Picking up rocket silo destroys rocket parts

No there's no balance reason for it. It's similar to crafting things that have intermediate items and canceling crafting half way through. It doesn't give back the raw materials but instead the intermediate products already created. Except in the rocket silo case there is no intermediate product bu...

Thanks for the report however this is currently working as intended. The rocket parts are gone as soon as the recipe cycle finishes and are never refunded.
Thanks.

Before I make a feature request: Is there a specific balance-related reason for that?

[?] Picking up rocket silo destroys rocket parts

When picking up a rocket silo, if it contains any rocket parts (i.e. > 0% complete), the rocket parts are lost. Steps: 1. Create a rocket silo 2. Let it create some parts up to N% 3. Pick up the rocket silo Expected: N rocket parts transferred to inventory. Actual: 0 rocket parts transferred to inve...

"Diagonal" mode checkbox for blueprint grid configuration

I would like a checkbox in the blueprint grid configuration, perhaps underneath the absolute/relative radio buttons that, when enabled, forced placement to be corner-to-corner on the grid instead of edge-to-edge; i.e. forced diagonal placement of the blueprint. This would make the grid useful for th...

Re: Add pause / unpause console command

As an alternative; would it perhaps also work if, instead of a new command, when game.tick_paused is set, players *are* notified and it does *not* disable achievements?

If it were addressed on that end then e.g. existing mods and stuff that set game.tick_paused would also become more well-behaved.

Re: [Typeface] Full Automation - Factorio's logo but a font?

Wow; beautiful. Really cool font, even generally speaking. Sexy and readable, and really appreciate the consistent look of each character. Thanks a lot for this.

Feedback: A special character for the gear; maybe the asterisk?
