Can you zip and upload all of the mods you're using as well? I suspect it's something one of them is doing which triggers the defect in the game logic.
Attached. I simplified the mods for my own testing (down from what I was using in the crash report) but I got the same crash again with the ...

Re: [15.34] Crash on: "RobotWithLogisticInterface::update"
I started the same save up again and played for about 15-20 minutes tonight before the game crashed again. Again, I didn't take any direct actions before the game crashed (I'm pretty sure I was just standing there, possibly zooming the camera in). From the errors though, I guess the issue is ...

[15.34] Crash on: "RobotWithLogisticInterface::update"
I have been crashing ~1-2 times every 3-4 hours played over the last couple of days. These are the first crashes that I have experienced in over 800 hours played (so kudos to you guys :) ). I can't pinpoint any causative actions but I am probably pushing the game a bit with about 3k science per ...

Re: UPS wars: smelting challenge (design competition)
Not fewer longer trains, fewer IDENTICAL trains. I have eight functionally identical setups using 6 trains each. No bots, no railway connections between them, the only thing connected was the electrical grid. And when I deleted 7 of the setups and ran just one, i scored 41 instead of 27.
I have ...

Re: UPS wars: smelting challenge (design competition)
This one doesn't have any chance whatsoever at being the most efficient design overall but it's the best I've been able to do using bots. Basically a series of separate bot networks feeding fully beaconed smelters which then load a train. Bots are used to move ore from miner-->smelter-->train ...

Re: UPS wars: smelting challenge (design competition)
Just read through this thread and I'm loving the timer solution. Before this, I had been trying to fix the problem by using slower inserters. I sent in two new versions, one using red inserters (which almost exactly use their full stack bonus without external input) and then another making use of ...

Thanks for the test and the screenshot...I might need to revisit my own test to check it out again.

Re: Ever wondered if you could make a 'belt' out of a train?
I tried that long ago but that system is hard to expand or change. Setting filters in so many wagons was the worst thing I ever encounter in this game.
I would probably just use this for one or two goods and you can copy/paste train cars if you want to expand filters.
The resulting output ...

Ever wondered if you could make a 'belt' out of a train?
Hey guys,
This is an X-post from the Factorio subreddit. I generally don't do this but the build generated a lot of discussion over there so I thought the community over here might get a kick out of it as well. The link is here: https://youtu.be/NRcs498i63o

Re: screen tearing with multiple monitors
The second isn't a real monitor...just a virtual monitor to trick windows into enabling integrated graphics for use by OBS.Fang wrote:Do both monitors support v-sync?
I did just try to plug in a real monitor though (which can use vsync) and had the same issue.

screen tearing with multiple monitors
Hi all, I've searched high and low but I can't find a solution to this issue. The problem that I am having is very noticeable horizontal screen tearing when using a dual monitor setup. The game runs perfectly with 1 monitor but if I use a second (real or virtual) monitor then the tearing starts. I ...

Re: [Youtube] Factorio Tutorials and Howto's from Hypnobunny
I know you don't use mods, but you can still use Lamps, I think, turning them on or off based on the percentage, so that for instance you can have 5 Lamps and have them turn on when above 20, 40, 60, 80 and when at 100.
The timing on this post is quite fortuitous because I just released a new ...

Re: Little Problems with a very simple circuit network...
So I'm not exactly sure what the problem with your setup is (most likely a sign mixed up, a wire not attached, or multiple wires all connected to the same pole causing them to sum together) however you might find https://youtu.be/hit79v62w1U helpful--it is a tutorial video about circuit networks and ...
