There must be some possibilities to implement some relief. On a map that is just 2D, you can see details about the relief.

Have you tried going in the application, deleting the demo and then install the game...

Fort the moment, the terrain is super flat... Just some water and that is all. It would be so much fun to have some mountains, valleys, rivers, hills. This terrain could have specificities (mountain would have more ore, hills increase the range of towers, river have current that could be used for ...

Strange, on mac normally they ask you if you want to replace the demo with the new file... Are you sure you are not developing the demo ?

The question has already been answered on another part of the forum (general discussion I think). They intent to make a direct to sale part (as you have on minecraft for instance !!!). This way they can raise money without any intermediate taking its share (indiegogo, it is not for free :p).

We originally intended this to be similar to the single game of Civilization in nature (having multiple means of victory - defeating enough alien basis, building the rocket defense or maybe negotiating the peace with the aliens).
