I'm in the market for a new gaming laptop, thought I'd ask for recommendations. Any advice or experiences with brands other than MSI or ASUS would be appreciated.

I found [removed suspected spam --daniel34], and ASUS ROG G751JY-DH71 looks nice. Advice?

Two things: weight and portability. If you don't care about those, you shouldn't get a laptop. If you do care, I don't recommend a 17inch screen. Also, MSI's and Lenovo's prices are really good.
